A Southern Highlands Escape

Are you looking for a beautiful place to wind down, relax and enjoy some quiet time with or without family?

Willow View Farmstay is a must in this case! On the border of the Southern Highlands and Tablelands of NSW is Brayton. Brayton is only about a 2hr drive from Sydney, 60min from Wollongong and only 90min from Canberra.

So why not enjoy the tranquility of country living for a couple of days?!?

Willowview Farmstay is set on one hundred and thirty acres by the Wollondilly River and your accommodation in the late 19th century cottage (Ferndale Homestead) offers uninterrupted views of the property with its paddocks, old barn and main farm house. The cottage has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one of them with full disabled facilities), 2 living rooms and a kitchen. It is the perfect place to spend a weekend or a week with family and friends.

Wow, this fire is so nice and warm!

One of the best things for me in the colder months is to sit by an open fire and that’s exactly what you can have at this cottage. One of the bedrooms even has a fire place.

So soak in the sun anywhere around the house, enjoy a fire outside and if its' too cold cuddle up inside by the fire, listing to some music, play games, snooze or read a book.

There are plenty of activities to take part in on the farm such as feeding the farm animals, bushwalking, fishing, canoeing, meditation sessions and healing for animals & people just to mention a few.

You can also stay in the Fairy Meadow Cabin a little further up the track. It is a beautiful cozy little family home with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, living room and a kitchen. The area is fully fenced as well, so perfect for the smaller kids to roam around as well and/or to bring you dog with you.

We loved the deck soaking in the morning sun with our coffee. The views are amazing and one relaxes instantly. Jan the owner of Willow View Farmstay is amazing. She is gentle with the animals and our kids love spending time with Jan when feeding the animals or getting some horse riding lessons. Plenty of activities for the whole family can be enjoyed. We loved taking the Kayak out on the Wollondilly River. Australian Bush at its best, especially for me as an expat. I keep falling in love with this rugged country over and over again.
